Several hundred years ago the elves were alsmost completely annihalted by a creature born because of the decisions and actions made by the current elvish king: a djinn. After losing 80 per cent of their population the elves finally managed to defeat the djinn and seal them. Now, although the djinn are known to be defeated, one of them appeared after all this time and killed Feanors whole family. After surviving this incident Feanors swears vengeance on the djinn and joins the elvish ranks.
