Mizuki, a writer, has been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). As it is an incurable disease, there's a possibility that she might die soon. However, she met Kiyo, a grim reaper who have been punished to watch every soul he will reap get attached to him for disobeying the rule of life and death.
