William, a convenience store worker who does night shifts, was walking home one morning when he decided to take a different route to make his life more interesting. It led him to a bakery. Before even looking at the pastries, his eyes landed on Elijah. The owner of the bakery, William, told himself he was going in for the pastries (he was lying).
