Fun fact: A de Leon giving an oath of loyalty is the same as swearing celibacy since they give all their loyalty and love to a single person, not expecting anything in return. It's one-sided, though. Cordelia cannot marry since she cannot swear loyalty to another person, but Brennan can still marry since he's not the one who gave the oath. Kinda sad.
