Linnet is a mute siren who was hidden away and controlled by her father, the ruthless mer-king, in hopes of exploiting her powers as he did with her mother. Desperate for freedom, Linnet escapes to land and hires a famous mercenary, Ulrick, to help her find a way to transform her temporary legs into permanent ones. As their journey unfolds, romance sparks between them, but Linnet’s secrets and her father’s growing search for her threaten to tear everything apart.
