The story is about a man, Dutch Donaldson, who gets hanged for a crime that he has not committed. Suddenly he awakens into a limbo between the world of the living and the world of the dead. While he wonders if he is dead or not a frightening train covered in flames appear. The conductor tells him that this train drags the souls in Hell, but he gives Dutch a second chance to go to the Earth to fulfill his purpose in only a week of time. If he fails the train will take him to Hell forever...
