Based on "The Abyss Surrounds Us" and "The Edge of the Abyss" by Emily Skrutskie, follow Cassandra Leung and her sea monsters as she is forced to leave her old life behind for the open sea. The real threat of this story isn't the monsters she trains or even the shockingly hot pirate trainee, Swift, but the world she left behind.
