Everyone dies, but what if you didn't have to? In a world with a stigma against necromancy, Eilif believes that he can figure out a way to prevent death and, more importantly, bring someone back to life. His research leads him to Solverre, the capital of Dorémmel, where he intends to finally accomplish his goal. However, due to the murders of many people in the royal family, tensions are running high, and Eilif finds himself involved with individuals he had hoped to avoid.
