People with ADD tend to live more "in the now" than people without. We instinctively prioritize small assignments to be finished over a small amount of time over large projects that are meant to be finished over a longer time. Flash forward to college, and suddenly ALL projects I have to do are large projects that are meant to be finished over the quarter of a year, which is an absolute disaster.
