Elizabeth Maker, was one of the people affected in the tragedy that is a virus that made their lives no longer peaceful. After losing many people, she now works at the "safe" zone, defending and risking her precious lives in exchange of someplace to live. Making friends, finding love and having a new reason to survive was wonderful but after their first mission to depopulate, she discovers that she somewhat isn't ordinary.
