Alien Strange Darrel is a thirteen-year-old with a terrible past who constantly commits acts of vandalism, without ever being punished. Furthermore, in his hometown, since he's not yet fourteen, he can't go to juvenile detention, but one day he and his family are kicked out of town. Going to live with his father's friend, he experiences new things, some funny, some exciting, and some meaningless.
