Our main character Oliver was born outside of the platinum kingdoms wall and set off into the kingdom where only people of power and capability could stand after he was struck by a strange purple bolt from out of the sky! This granted him both the ability to move metal! in order to let him stand a chance against the other children with natural powers who have to fight in order to keep their stay at Platinum Kingdoms school for the capable.
