Citizens are finding their living machines missing without a trace, there's no effort being shown by any locals to locate them, after all... cars are as easy to replace as old furniture. Politics aren't something Olympia cares about, she knew how little officials would look into disappearances of the "lesser" beings as she fought for them every day of her life since she was young. Then, it gets personal when her own disappear. This plotline is not for the easily perturbed.
