This story tells the tragic tale of Amanda, a girl who endures the harsh moral and ethical values of Emperor Ueslave, who forbids her from honoring the funeral rites of one of her dead brothers, Felix, condemned as a traitor. Despite these cruel principles, Amanda’s determination and resistance to the emperor’s laws allow her to defend her beliefs with the unexpected aid of Cassius, a fearless boy from the lower class. This story is inspired by a French play, Antigone by Jean Anouilh.
