This is the different stages John Barry Ballaran took in creating the artwork for the third page of Anubis: Dog of Death Part One, Anubis Gets Adopted. Anubis wakes up in an animal rescue adoption center. While the veterinarian starts her morning routine, Anubis remembers his old life as a god. And how easily he could have escaped his current situation in his previous form.
