This story follows a young Victor as he discovers a Night Fury being held captive in a strange hut. Victor struggles with being disabled in a town where physical strength is valued above all. As he learns more about dragons, he befriends the Night Fury and names her Rio. This story parallels the plot of How to Train Your Dragon, but with some changes, different characters, and unique struggles.
