After a major event, the world was split into two. Characteristics and Traits are people who gained abilities from whatever they touched after their first birthday. Characteristics physically change to suit their powers but Traits don't at all. Because of this, it caused hatred. Sketch is a Characteristic who got into a fight with a classmate and was expelled for reasons other than the fight. This leads to Sketch's parents sending him off to a art school they were in when they younger.
