"I've had this reoccurring dream of being on the outside, stuck in a constant state of total, empty limbo and unable to reach the outside world and desperate to do so. I felt inspired to use it as a nightmare for the arthology--it doesn't spark immediate fear as most nightmares, but a lingering dread that can feel haunting."
