The first thing Pierson Augustine wants to achieve at the Aster Event, a showcase for young elemental specialists to demonstrate their abilities, is to win. The second is to catch the mysterious figure Pierson witnesses sabotaging the event’s arena, putting the competitors (and the competition) at risk. Either way, Pierson will get answers—even if it means having to cooperate with a certain standoffish security trainee. (Janky first draft of a self-indulgent comic for my friends and me!)
