Autistic Boy is a character-driven comic strip that explores the daily friction of being a highly intelligent, intensely logical, but socially inept autistic adult. The protagonist is actually a 46-year-old man living like a boy—unmarried, underemployed, and splitting his time between drawing, stand-up comedy open mics, and walking his chiweenie. Everything he does makes perfect sense to him, but his strict internal logic is constantly misinterpreted by a neurotypical world.

I am a professional caricature artist. I trained for comics at the Sequential Artists Workshop and Center for Cartoon Studies. I have recently completed a 100-page graphic memoir. Autistic Boy represents my ability to self-reflect, find the humor in my own life, and maintain a production schedule.
