Avatar: The War is an Avatar: The Last Airbender spin-off fan comic following the journey of Zira, a Fire Nation military deserter, her two children, an aimless monk, and their journey across the world as fugitives. Avatar Aang had vanished 35 years ago, leaving the world in the Fire Nation’s hands. Only tales of a hidden sanctuary are left for Zira's family to hope for. This comic is based on the original ATLA timeline at the start of the 100 year war (35 AG) during Azulon's rule.
