Do you recycle your receipts? I used to. And then I was shocked to find out - there are two types of receipts floating around out there. The paper ones, which are recyclable and compostable, and the thermal ones, which aren’t. But because it’s hard to tell the difference between the two it's better to keep them all out of the recycling bin in order not to ruin the entire batch.
