Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly harms another person physically or emotionally. It can take many forms, such as physical bullying (e.g. hitting, pushing, tripping), verbal bullying (e.g. teasing, name-calling, threatening), or social bullying (e.g. excluding someone from a group, spreading rumors). Bullying can have serious and long-lasting effects on the victim, including depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem.
