Corva is a mage and has telepathic abilities, grounded in a symbiose with bacteria that appeared at the same time as monsters did. Whilst monsters use pure energy as fuel to trouble humanity, some humans could adapt the pure energy from the bacteria to fight against them. Corva is a new scholar at a school that teaches new generations of mages to use their supernatural powers to protect humanity.
