As Lord Vengeance continues his conquest of the Creature world, Jake Adams begins his quest to becoming a Battlist by visiting Professor Timothy Sanders' lab. There, he learns a bit about what it will take to get the Creatures to trust him enough to allow him to call them, and gets the Crest of Summoning, and Jake and Sanders go to find a Creature that can be the first to bond with Jake's Crest.
