Rooh grew up among the temple priestesses , she's one herself , and has never believed in any of it. Not the Goddess her village dies for. Not the prayers. Not the miracles everyone else swears keep them safe. When an invasion from a neighboring kingdom takes away everything she has left, she doesn't turn to faith. She turns to hope . For the first time in her life, she prays. To a god everyone forgot. A god no one was supposed to call to. It answers.
