Valerie hates reading, but a school assignment has her wandering a bookstore in search of reading a romance novel. Using the store's "Blind Date with a Book" program, she is able to find not one, but multiple books she enjoys, hand-picked by one of the retail workers. However, mysterious love notes start appearing in the books she picks up, and she must figure out which barista is behind it.
