Before his space voyage, an astronaut remembers a friend from his past. Two boys meet in a hospital and share their dreams of becoming astronauts and venturing through the cosmos. In a place where death happens every day, yet there is also a life, they share a deep bond only they understand. But with the revelation of a terminal illness, both worlds are changed forever. How will they keep their blue-painted promise to go to the cosmos together?
