Remedial Roller Derby: (As mentioned in previous Remedial notes, cuz it's a core element of derby), a unit of play is called a "jam", and the Lead Jammer (the jammer who got out of the pack first) can "call off the jam" (ending it) at any time by repeatedly tapping her hips.
