A visually impaired bounty hunter accompanied by a creature with enhanced sight unexpectedly encounters a mutant beast while backed against the edge of a cliff. The standalone short comic “Brawl Under a Guardian Angel” won a Silver Key in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. If received well online, the author may reuse the characters and concept for a full series.
