Lore fact: the reason Shihu doesn’t just leave Shouri’s body behind is because, in their culture, if someone’s body isn’t disposed of properly depending on the person’s station in life, their spirit can’t go to the afterlife. Shihu probably would’ve demanded that Shouri get a warrior’s funeral, had one actually been needed.
