Things sometimes get lost in translation when you rely on the written word rather than the spoken word to communicate with someone. Being a stickler for proper spelling, capitalization and punctuation, I sometimes need to take a moment to decipher that which deviates from the rules. I suppose many of my contemporary humans have the opposite problem.
