A very intelligent scientist named Kurai brings his proposal of his creation of a unique energy in which it is denied. He worked to create a source of energy much more powerful then the energy that already exists in their world. One night while working on this formula an accident occurs causing the formula to explode with Kurai at the core of the explosion, leaving everyone and buildings around them destroyed. The remaining people that were affected by the explosion that did not die turned into being named Okuresu which are blood hungry murderous beings. Kurai did not die from the explosion absorbing most of the newly created energy. 100 years pass and Kurai bring the purposal of his newly created energy to the new population.
