Sad old Mittaines is at the hospital. Meanwhile, his nephew Buzz and his tenant Sooky discover an old book in the basement. It’s the story of an 18th century pirate. Meanwhile, we learn that Mittaines has some secrets as well. A look at a historical and modern acadian society that is a lot less naive than the quaint paintings and touristic sites I grew up with. It deals with matters like addiction, child abuse, exploitation, genocide, criminality…and hope.
