Every reincarnation of Gitoeng, a malevolent tyrant from ancient times, has attempted or succeeded in furthering the extinction of the nymph race. Iðunn, a human-nymph herself, is believed to be the 14th of his descendants, and she's not about to go insane just because destiny said so.
