Sixty years ago, infants who were three months and younger began getting replaced. In the blink of an eye, their bodies were switched for another of mutated DNA. This changeling epidemic continues to occur, and countries have fractured in disputes about the handling of these changeling children with abnormal abilities. A school for changelings is established in the remnants of California, and the mystery of the changelings begins to unfold.
