TOPAt this point, I would actually be surprised if she was just experiencing Braxton-Hicks. It can actually be super hard to tell the difference even for experienced mothers. Also, with the mucus plus being mistaken for water breaking, at least you didn’t mistake peeing yourself for your water breaking. When my water broke, I was leaning towards thinking I just had some incontinence…until the contractions started a few minutes later.
