Claire Geist can see ghosts—but she doesn’t talk to them, she studies them. At least, that’s what she tells herself. Armed with a sketchbook and a bag of half-working inventions from her eccentric grandmother, Claire spends her days tracking down spirits stuck between here and gone. Each ghost is different and warped by the way they died, held in place by something they can’t let go of. Claire treats every haunting like a problem to solve. Measure the pattern. Find the cause.
