In a time when The Holy Roman Empire was divided by internal power struggles, the nations from southeastern Europe were forced to defend themselves against Islam. They failed. After the conquest of Constantinople, Sultan Mehmed shifted his attention towards north, in his power, the kingdom of Transylvania could be used as military base against the heart of Europe, but Mehmed still needed to pass one more obstacle for the world to stand at his feet. That obstacle was prince Vlad Dracula.
