What should have been the start of her much needed vacation turned into an unexpected upset, as Lyra finds herself stranded on an island. An island that should have been deserted. It's just her luck, that this island isn't as deserted as everyone claimed, although the inhabitants aren't quite human. With her boat leaving her behind she's forced to make the best of a bad situation, and try to recruit the help of a rather cold Naga, who might not be as indifferent as she first thought.
