She can't remember when it was that everything started. Maybe because it's been so long, or perhaps because she doesn't want to remember. It doesn't matter... because it... will always follow her. But sometimes when you've been around something so long, it starts feeling comfortable. The familiarity, even when painful, can bring comfort.
