Luanne is selected as the Representative of the Stars, one of four girls chosen every five years to form a magical girl team with a purpose to protect the Earth. However, when she starts to run into trouble with her magic, she starts to notice cracks in the bond she thought she had with the other representatives- the girls she thought of as her closest friends.
