After his parents’ long-overdue separation, all-American reject Min-Jae and his mother relocate to the west coast, but without his father’s money, they can’t long afford their new home. To ease the pressure off his mother’s back, Min-Jae hunts high and low for a job, and snags one as a skating carhop at a diner. The only problem? He doesn’t know how to skate. Is roller-skating destined to be only a phase, or just maybe, could it be a lifestyle?
