This is a Merring story — where sailors hunt mermaids instead of whales. The number of deaths at sea caused by mermaids has grown over the past decade. As has the demand among the wealthy for their alluring scales. With the hunt for these creatures more profitable than ever, orphan Arthur aims to get he and his siblings, Sara and Ben, onto a merring ship and away from a life of poverty. But the love he finds at sea shakes up everything he thought he knew about the business he now feeds.
