Dear Skin is a surreal psychological horror about how people react to things they don't understand. A grandfather(Paw) and his granddaughter(Tawny) live together in a cabin in the woods. One winter, they are struggling to find animals to hunt for food, and come across a dead fawn in a bear trap. Hungry and desperate, they take it home to try and salvage the scraps of meat. Inside the carcass they find instead a strange creature. They decide to raise it as part of their family, naming it Honey.
