Angelo, Finn, and McCroy, miners and excavators working for McCroy's mining company, discover an entrance to a hidden tomb during their mining venture. Inside, they find the corpse of Awful Anderson, a notorious outlaw, along with a golden-covered gun. When Angelo picks up the gun, he has eerie visions and is able to see Anderson's ghost. The gun is cursed, granting supernatural accuracy and speed but binding the wielder to it until their death, after which they become the new ghost.
