Deltarune fans will notice that there is a gate that blocks the exit of the alleyway once Kris wins the battle. A bit of trivia here: it's actually the gate from Hometown. The gate's appearance means that continuing the game normally is blocked. Once you allow Spamton to join you, there's no going back.
