Ezra lives an uneventful life in which he is a law abiding citizen who commits no crimes, sins, or other evil deeds. Despite this he winds up in hell once he dies. The Devil promises him entry to heaven should he complete his contract. That is, to find the small demon who caused all of his troubles.
