Disorient’s ‘lost in translation’ refers to both the meanings in non-English words that become continually ambiguous/unclear when people try to translate them into English, and also our blood, sweat, and tears that have been shed to build our history, only to be put aside and trampled upon. Both things have become ‘lost’, as Western values have come to dominate through colonization and globalization.
