Years ago, former witch's apprentice and healer, Gregory McBaine, was accused and falsely burned for wielding black magic. Now, with the past behind him and living a life in hiding, the young doctor must return to his roots at the request of a queen's plea. Between taming his magic under the queen's guidance and hiding from the public, Greg realizes there's more to his 'supposed' death and his past than he initially thought.
